As a clinician-educator board-certified in Preventive Medicine (Addiction Medicine) and Family Medicine, I believe that treating addiction is an essential part of comprehensive healthcare. My approach centers on meeting patients where they are—whether through prevention, harm reduction, or recovery support—to help them achieve their personal goals. I specialize in the treatment of substance use disorders, including opioids, alcohol, stimulants, benzodiazepines, and cannabis, as well as behavioral addictions such as gaming, gambling, and internet use.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve on the faculty of the Yale Program in Addiction Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine since 2015, where I am currently an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine. I am also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Nursing and an active public health researcher and practitioner.
