Lee H. Saltzman, PsyD

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Saltzman is a NY and NJ-licensed psychologist with over two decades of experience helping people break through personal barriers, make new choices, and move toward greater well-being. She offers empathic, insight-oriented therapy that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities to help patients make lasting change in their thoughts, feelings, and behavior.

Dr. Saltzman focuses on the needs of young adults as they navigate life transitions, establish careers, cultivate romantic and familial relationships, and embark on parenthood. She works with many high-functioning or “overachieving” professionals who appear to have it all under control, but are struggling inside. She also has a particular focus on women’s mental health, including fertility/infertility, pregnancy, motherhood, work/life balance, and relationship challenges.

Areas of specialty include:

Career & Performance — Workplace stress, burnout, imposter syndrome, career transitions, and the anxiety that comes with high-achieving environments.

Mood & Emotional Wellbeing — Depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, and the day-to-day emotional weight that makes it hard to feel like yourself.

Relationships & Family — Navigating romantic partnerships, family dynamics, communication breakdowns, and the pressure of evolving roles and responsibilities.

Life Transitions — Major shifts like career changes, relocation, loss, identity questions, and the challenges of growing into who you want to be.

Broader Mental Health Concerns — A full range of psychological and behavioral challenges, including OCD, social anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief, eating concerns, and more

Dr. Saltzman trained at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University and Kings County Hospital, and completed an MA and Psy.D. at New York University. She has been in private practice since 2009 and works both in-person and via telehealth.
