Shira Hon-Lahav is a Licensed Psychoanalyst and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist with over fifteen years of clinical experience working with adults and couples. She has practiced in a range of clinical settings, including hospital-based treatment at Bellevue Hospital and Woodhull Hospital. Fluent in English and Hebrew, Shira has worked with clients in multiple countries and brings a culturally sensitive, globally informed perspective to her work.
Shira is the founder of Therapeutic Alliance NYC, where she offers individualized psychoanalytic therapy to adults and couples, and Peace of Mind Psychoanalysis and Creative Arts Services PLLC, a collaborative group practice in which she supervises therapists providing care to both adults and children. Her therapeutic approach integrates psychoanalytic thinking with creative arts therapies, allowing space for insight, expression, and emotional growth.
